Our skid steer post drivers require a minimum oil flow of 8 gallons per minute.
There is really no difference, except in name. At Lawsen, our vibratory post drivers operate on both skid steers and tractors so there is no difference, except for the greater mobility of a skid steer. Post driver tractor or attachment to skid steer, it doesn't matter.
A breaker style driver does not require a predrilled hole to install the post. This is a more efficient way of installing fence posts, but does increase the risk of splitting or damaging a fence post.
No, all that is required is one set of hydraulic hoses.
No! We believe that extra gadgets and electronics are susceptible to breaking and causing costly repairs on a vibratory post driver. All that is needed to run our post drivers is one set of hydraulic hoses.
The skid steer provides hydraulic pressure to cycle the driver. Each time the hydraulic post hole driver “cycles” it pounds on the post and in so doing, drives it into the ground.
Our hydraulic fence post drivers can handle any size of post from small T posts, to large railroad ties.
Not necessarily - but most agricultural posts are 4” to 6” in diameter. Since agricultural posts are the most common item that is used, the 4” - 6” post would be the closest thing to a standard size. Our skid steer post pounders handle those sizes.
Yes, they work well with both kinds of posts. This is both a wood post driver and a metal post driver.
No, our post drives are compatible with any brand of skid steer.
